We are pleased to announce that the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University has selected A.K. Burns to be a Radcliffe Institute Fellow where Burns will develop Negative Space, a cycle of video works and exhibitions initiated with support from Creative Capital. Additional support for this work is being provided through the Education Department's Spring 2017 Research & Development Season at the New Museum, where Burns is currently in residence. The residency will culminate with an exhibition opening January 2017. The opening episode A Smeary Spot, 2015 - recently exhibited at Participant Inc, NY - will be exhibited in a new iteration this September at the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art.
